Hooshang Zahiri

From a young age Hooshang fell in love with the art of painting. His formal training began nearly four decades ago in a school of arts in Swiss Cottage, London. During his time in England, it was his love for the English countryside that inspired him to establish himself as a landscape artist. Since then he has enjoyed capturing scenic views the world around with his brush.

As a landscape artist, Hooshang is in relentless pursuit of using bold colours to capture light and atmosphere. He enjoys painting surrounded by nature, and finds his inspiration through the landscape paintings of William Turner, and Vincet van Gogh. Even though his primary medium is watercolour, he also enjoys sketching with pen and ink. His paintings have been displayed in various art galleries, and have found permanent homes in private collections around the globe.
